how many old Eclipse driver?

I had a 95 GST for about 2 years, sold it and then got a '06 eclipse GS thinking it would be just as fun. Now I cannot complain too much because I had that car for 5+ years with no issues. I still from time to time miss my GST and have been looking for one, just sad that I can't find one beat to the ground.

Had a 96 Talon TSi AWD back when I was a wee lad. Great car to drive in the Midwest winters but it definitely was not as fun as my BRZ is. Was the first car I did any significant mods in even before the warranty was out.

a very small part of me always wanted a 3G, not because they were awesome. Because I also want a 1G to have the whole series of a car...

Always loved the 1st/2nd gens, it was my "realistic" dream car when I was a little kid (sorry, I find the 3rd gen dull and pointless)

Found a really nice 96 Talon TSi when I was in college and was about to buy it, until I found out how assrape expensive the insurance was going to be. Sad because now it's another car that's impossible to find a good one anymore...

In my opinion the 3G had the looks while the 1st and 2nd gen had the power (or potential for it)

My Eclipse was my first car and I have no regrets. Honestly it's the car that got me into cars. I didn't do anything serious to it, just some aesthetic modifications. I'll always have a place in my heart for it.

Really never thought the 3G looked that great. But you are right, the 4G63 has so much potential. too bad you had to watch out for that crank walk

My 1990 FWD Talon Tsi was my first car. I had grown up around old muscle cars, but the Talon got me into 90s 4 cylinder cars.

I've also owned a 1991 Eclipse GSX and 1992 Laser RS AWD.

DSMs are great cars, but most people didn't know how to maintain them.

Still have a 02 GT as my winter beater car. Not as fun as my old laser or gsx but more reliable.

My first car '91 TSi awd and after that I was faithful to the brand.. I had two 2g gst's one white and another black and another gst 1g '91 as well. Loved those cars. wow this thread got me searching around to find some old pics of one of the rides and man has it taken me back, about 10 years. Its amazing how standards, taste and everything changes lol.

My 91 Talon TSI AWD was my very favorite car until my FRS. When I got to hate my 12 Lancer GT with a passion I tried to trade it for an absolutely pristine, very low miles 08 Eclipse Spyder (the one below note the colour) but the dealer screwed me around so bad I said forget it. Good thing in the long run as I would not have found the FRS!
