Why is plastic dip so much cheaper than wrap ? Is the dip the same thing as painting it ?

Just embrace all the chips, dings, and discoloration and go with a rat-rod theme.

I can't comment on that but from what I've been reading, it won't damage your paint. Although, there was a post with a whiteout FRS being plasti dip in blue and some of the plasti dip appeared to stain his FRS but it disappeared after a few days.

lol @ op saying switching from white to black due to dirty!
black is much harder to maintain than white! I used to have black and it's the best color when you wax/sealnt but it's bitching to keep it clean all time. i choosed white on BRZ due to this reason.
