On a side note, I can't believe this hasn't been asked yet but how the hell do I disable the "P050B" CEL that I keep getting every morning? I clear it with the OFT every day and am getting pretty sick of clearing it day after day. Any tips?
Currently running the OFT300 Map - I've got a Vortech.

The P050B option may not be in your XML definition file by default and you'll need to get the right definition set up before it shows up as an option.

I didn't have to do anything special to disable the P050B CEL code. It was already in my OTS tune definition. I am currently running a heavily modded UEL tune, but since the tune doesn't make changes for just one bank of the engine it's all right. It has more power in the UEL tune then the EL tune, so I use the UEL tune.

Your running an EL with OFT UEL tune? How are you determining the UEL tune makes more power?

Unless he's done something different to it, it doesn't according to the dynos he's done.
Check the threads he started and you'll see the thread.

Man I'm confused. I have no idea how to add the remaining sections of: "MAF Correction After Start (Neutral)" and "MAF Correciton After Start (In Gear)" into my "definition"/ rom. People are saying to edit a definition... how do I go about doing this? When I try to copy and past the following into my "definition," nothing happens.
Code:
<table name="MAF Correction After Start (Neutral)" storageaddress="11C868">
		  <table type="X Axis" storageaddress="11C81C" />
		  <table type="Y Axis" storageaddress="11C848" />
		</table>
		<table name="MAF Correction After Start (In Gear)" storageaddress="11C964">
			<table type="X Axis" storageaddress="11C918" />
			<table type="Y Axis" storageaddress="11C944" />
		</table>
and

Code:
<table type="3D" name="MAF Correction After Start (In Gear)" category="Mass Airflow / Engine Load" storagetype="uint16" endian="big" sizex="11" sizey="8" userlevel="4">
      <scaling units="g/s" expression="x*0.004577637" to_byte="x/0.004577637" format="0.0" fineincrement="0.1" coarseincrement="1" />
      <table type="X Axis" name="Coolant Temperature" storagetype="float" >
        <scaling units="DegreesF" expression="(x*1.8)+32" to_byte="(x-32)/1.8" format="0.0" fineincrement="1" coarseincrement="10" />
        </table>
      <table type="Y Axis" name="Idle Mode" storagetype="float" >
        <scaling units="Mode Counter" expression="x" to_byte="x" format="0" fineincrement="1" coarseincrement="5" />

In other words, I'm a noob and don't know how to edit the my rom. Can anyone make a step by step guide?

I'm using the "OFT_ZA1JB10C" rom, more specifically the Stage 2 UEL bin.

What are you using to edit the definition?
If you're not already using it, download notepad++ and open the definition with that.

Romriader does the rom editing.

you need to edit the definition file romraider uses to index into the rom.

However you may be lucky. If your original ROM was B01C and your using OFT V2.06x tunes then I believe the ROM is based on B01C.

So in your case you should be able to grab the Github version of the B01C definition and use it to edit your ROM. You wont be able to access LC/FFS parameters with that definition but the MAF tables will be in their.

Just make sure you check some tables in rom to make sure the definition matches. See the ROM Raider Tips link below.

Remember your going into dangerous territory here so check your work and rom and defs match else its bricked ecu for you.

Thanks. The Notepad++ definitely allowed me to edit the definition. Luckily, I already have it on my computer.

As of right now, I've copy and pasted the first code-block (the first code that I quoted in my previous post) into my definition, but my question now is where should I copy and paste the second code-block(the longer block of code)?

Both blocks of code will go into the definition.

Yeah I know that but, my question is where should I paste the blocks of codes? From my intuition on programming, I know that if I were to copy and paste the block of codes into a random place, the program as a whole wouldn't function as intended.

Well anyways, I got it to work. I see the MAF Correction After Start (In Gear) and (Neutral). What I did was copy and paste both code blocks and placed them where, acj47, placed his/her's.

I copy and pasted the first block of code
after
Code:
  <table type="Y Axis" storageaddress="104E98" />
         </table>
and I copy and pasted the second block of code and pasted it before:

Code:
 <table type="3D" name="Engine Load Compensation A (MP) "...
I'll go ahead and save this, and flash it onto my car. I'll report back whether my ecu is "bricked" or not.

Think of it as the top half of the definition are the addresses, the bottom half is the table info. The addresses don't need to be in order, you can just add new ones at the top. However the table info will sort the categories automatically by the 1at instance and within each category it will sort by the order in the list.
