large clear plastic bottles/cylinders??!?!/

i am looking for a cylindrical object that is about 5-7" in diameter (or more, if possible) and minimum of 1 foot in length

made from hard, clear plastic.

????

I can buy something online, but i would rather see/touch one in person to see if it fits my needs.

does a thing even exist? Home Depot?

After thinking hard for a good couple min... I got nothing.

My mind kept going back to an acrylic water pipe but the diameter isn't there..

What's it for?

Maybe some silicone binding a few see through buckets with the bottoms cut out? Won't look pretty but could work for something red green style.

Probably no help at all, just brainstorming

I've seen acrylic pipe in that rough diameter before, but I couldn't tell you where. The stuff I've seen is quite thick too (~3/8"-1/2")

I know of a place that can sell you sturdy cylinders made up to 18" length and 5" diameter. You'd have to cut the ends to fit that design though. Not sure if they can make larger but you can ask them. They are also expensive, that 18x5 is $190. The link is NSFW so if you want it I'll PM you

Yes,

it's damn expensive though....

Just google 'clear PVC pipe 6'. You might try adding Canada to see if there is a Canadian manu. or dist, or perhaps a local shop where you can pick it up.

I'm sure I've seen these in acrylic/plastic/plexi-glass/mock-glass before.

or you can have it made to your specs. Gets pricey though.

thanks guys!

this would have to be low budget to be worth it though

i might actually just bend one of those flat, metal bars into a spiral for a similar effect..

when i'm done, you'll see whats up.
