Wow. Sounds like one good pass in the California Sierra Nevada would kill the car. She doesn't ride the brakes, does she?

No she have been to few Autox & winter cross before (w stock pads), but never summer tracks. & yes, she knows how to drive/race. I, myself had these pads on my BRZ & did few tracks. It did heat up, but not like this.

I might just get her Winmax W3 & slotted or better vented rotors in the front. Rear was fine… just found out almost all the Winmax pads are back ordered.

The BRZ is much lighter and probably slower in maximum straight speed.

Layed out my cabinets, the guys screwed up again. I have an extra 36" lower. I called and asked them if they wanted it back and they told me not to worry about it. I did get a finished vineer sheet when I got my cabinets, it's going to be a little smaller then I wanted but free island for the kitchen.

Did you still have TC on? Typically TC is really hard on brakes, especially the rears.

Unless you go two piece, you really are not gaining much on aftermarket rotors. Even then it is marginal, unless you have a wide enough aftermarket caliper to take larger venting. That is one of the reasons the AP kits work so well, 32mm wide rotors, lots of venting. Kits like my Stoptech setup are 28mm wide, and the Wilwoods are 30mm. Just some Dot4 fluid and a stouter pad should be enough.

Must have been Utah motorsports campus. I was looking at other out of state track days and was looking there. Saw they ran a program like that, lap out, pit. Lap out, pit.

When my wife was lapping, she had TC on. Rear got hot, but still in operational temperature. When I went, I had it off. My lap was a testing lap & didn't stress the brakes much, so temperature didn't really change.

These time, I wish, she would of waited few years and bought WRX w PP package, so got more brake options.

& you're correct. We were at UMC doing simple amateur track day (lap out, pit, lap out, pit). She's still amateur & still getting used to be on the track.

That’s cool she’s into that. I don’t think I have ever dated a girl that was remotely interested in cars.

She didn't. She liked cars, but she never dreamed of mod her car or even going to the track to race... until she start date me.

Keep in mind, there's pros and cons of having car fan wife/gf. She can come and enjoy these kind of stuff w you... BUT when you wanna buy parts to fix/upgrade, she knows what's necessary vs not necessary. So BS'ing around to buy BBK or turbo kit doesn't work lmao
