Brought her to the new house over the weekend. I have been living in my garage-less rental property for 6 years and apartments before that. This is the first time she will be stored where I live. Which will make getting back to the track infinitely easier. She's home.

Things are looking up since my last posts. I have decided that I am not selling the car and found some motivation to get back to driving. Recently I have knocked some tasks off the 'get back to the track' list. I put the finishing touches on the splitter, got myself a newer tow vehicle (2019 Highlander XLE), scheduled an alignment and finally fixed my trailer wiring.

Still on the list,
Order tires: I am 90% sure I will be going with the Falken RT660s this year since tire prices have gone up considerably.
New set of wheels: old ones are very bent. I really want the Apex Forged EC-7R 17x9.5 +40 but Konig has a NASA sponsorship that my budget can't resist. We will see.
Aim Solo DL: sold my non-DL
Instructor Communicator: old one stopped working
Brake Fluid/Oil change
Livery update: Never liked the matte gray and bronze. New design, OG Evasive FRS replica.

Things are definitely different with a kid. I really don't want to be working on the car anymore. So the content of this thread will probably drop to lap times and fun moments.

Hoping to be at an event in July?

The GR86 was an option I considered but I really need a bit more space at the moment. I wanted a M240i but used prices are out of control 32-40k for a 2016 with 60k miles? No thanks. Then my co-worker pulls in with a MK8 GTI. Seems like a good compromise. I went to order a Golf R but one dealer wanted 8k over msrp and another wasn't getting one for 6-8 months. So I pulled the trigger on a 2022 GTI DSG. Pretty stoked about that.

With the market the way it is I doubt this will sell fast. If it sells it sells. If it doesn't then maybe it will see the track again in a year or two.

Since I have posted the car for sale I have had an enormous amount of interest in how I built (copied ML's) the 9lives wing chassis mounts. Would anyone be interested in templates for the angle mounts and for where I cut the 9lives uprights? Thinking about 3d printing the mounts for template purposes? PM me if interested.

For all those following, the car has not been sold and if it doesn't sell by Nov 1st you will see me at the track in 2023. This time for reals.

I found a lightly scrubbed set of A052s for this season and I have been asked to data coach at some PCA and Doghouse track events. Looking good for 2023 to be the comeback year.

She is sold ladies and gents. The new owner is going to do the things I have always wanted to do to the car so it is in good hands. Furthermore, he drives at with the same group I data coach for.
