I hope Nissan will make the steering feel as close to hydraulic power steering as possible.

It’s hard to do well, the Twins are among the best EPS cars I’ve driven. It’s just not possible to get the amount of feedback you get from a 90s-2000s BMW for example. Most great EPS setups try to compensate by making the steering very precise and linear, which helps. Some of today’s drivers cars are still really bad though. Any current non-M BMW is pretty bad with almost no feedback at all. The original BMW Z4 is pretty good, The S2000 is good too.

You want to try really bad? Try any current eco box like a Hyundai Santa Fe or a Camry. Those stick out as 2 rentals I’ve had recently that are really bad. Felt like one of these:

I really like it a lot.

I have a 2021 Supra and I do like my Supra's look better, but I really wish there was a manual option in the Supra.

I won't be swapping, but as enthusiast, we all win when stuff like this comes out.

This could put pressure on Toyota (and BMW?) to put a manual into the Supra.

After this recent round of press releases I find myself following it like I did the frs / brz back in the day. I was going to get a corvette next but I think I'm being swayed. Doesn't help my wife has a new scat pack as a daily, lol.

Nope, not happening. I just can't unsee the parts I don't like. Same with the 2022 Twins. I guess I'm more shallow than I thought I was!

Not sold on the front end, but the rear and is awesome. The non-tablet looking radio display is becoming rarer in interiors too so that's a big selling point.

I do agree with both of those comments, although the rear fenders are a little too post 300ZX fat for me, but straight on from the back it's great.

100% on the radio.

I feel like the opposite is happening, where we are seeing less high, stuck-on-top tablets. Manufacturers seem to be trying to integrate them more. For the z, with the gauge pod, a high tablet display wouldn’t be historically consistent, but I agree that it is a pro.

The weight is the hardest pill for me to swallow. It almost becomes a deal breaker. But the manual leaves little choice for me to consider competitors if I was in the market for a new Japanese car in this price range.
