Yes and no, it will fit but they use different mount holes, and the 2017 trunks are reinforced at the ends of the trunk where it mounts

Off topic (apologies), where (online, download, or paper, etc.) can I find a parts/repair guide for a 2017 BRZ (e.g. like this page, i.e. assuming it came from such a publication)?

(I liked the old Chilton manuals, which back in the day seemed to be published almost immediately for every new auto that hit the market.)

I actually prefer the older model more because it feels more organic due to the simplicity of the beautiful lines.

This newer one looks more bottom heavy due to the extra bumper layer, and slightly sharper shapes on both front and back headlights. which is usually the basic equation to make a car look more aggressive/cooler. Perhaps it will definitely appeal better to younger people just my thoughts!

leevanf: indeed, there is some beauty in simple lines. Loved the looks of 350Z and hated how overdone 370Z was.

Same here. The 370Z just looks so.. Ughh.
The 350Z was my first car love when I was 16.
When I was finally able to buy one I was so disappointed that it drives so much worse than the FRS I test drove, and got a BRZ instead.

You and I must be similar in age, when I was younger I also coveted the 350z as my when I'm grown and successful I'll have it car. My ear still perks up when I hear that v6 near by... but most of the time it's the inifiniti suv thing.

Oh god yea. Those mid 2000 VQ35 cars sound so good and are so recognizable.

Should be, since bonnet and fender is the same, just front bumper is wider. I bought a Varis bonnet and it fit

Do a search, it is not a simple conversion and I believe you must swap the bumpers as well.

They fit physically but not exactly "plug-and-play" as the DRL and wiring will be different.

I've tried to find info posted by people who have done it but nothing turns up, I'll search around some more. If it does require changing the bumpers then I won't do it. Wiring I don't mind, I just rewired the Valenti reverse light I installed yesterday and it wasn't so bad. That reminds me, I gotta post some pictures when I get home...
