Why do all the aftermarket lights emulate each other?

Porsche is nice. I think all our alternatives look cheap. Especially the light tube shiz.
Wouldn't mind something completely one-off like a lamborghini -esque type taillight or more exotic looking, just not cheap. |

Aren't these just the chrome (or smoked?) version of the Spyder Auto/Sonar tails?

most lights are like HID kits. all made in the same manufacturing plant and labeled differently for worldwide distribution |

Helix is NOT the original manufacturer. Amistad International from Taiwan is.
Helix, just like Sonar and the likes, is probably just another trading company that resells them.. |

In my opinion all fo the aftermarket lights with the tube style just don't fit and look too pink, at least in photos. Need lights that are more RED and up to OEM standards of say Porsche, Audi, BMW...then I might change my mind. I would also have to have a red lens.
I think the aftermarket tails make the car look like a 16 year old is driving it too. Maybe that is why I am sticking with the stocks and just getting a red out done! They look the best out of all the tails I have seen.
