Those wheels look amazing !

I ran a set of FL-5's as my autocross set-up on my last car. Amazing quality and incredibly light.

I like the EC-7's, but the SM-10's are the design I always drool over. Such a great looking wheel that looks great on just about any car.

Thanks Apex

Any chance you will do a Face 2 18x9 +35? (same width / offset / face as the 17inch versions)
.

Also - are there any plans for 18" fitments for the 86/BRZ?
We're in the process of updating the fitment list for 86/BRZ on the Wheel Configurator on our new site. This will accurately reflect the color and profile of a given wheel once you select it from our drop-down menu. You can check it out here: Apex Wheel Configurator

We may offer the 18x9" ET35 down the line, but nothing concrete at the moment.

The 18x9" ET42 offers a great fitment that both Gen 1 and Gen 2 cars can utilize without having to do a lot of work to make them fit.

The 18x9.5" ET40 actually sits as flush to the fender as an 18x9" ET35 would, but still allows for a wider tire.

That said, we do our best to support the community, so there's always a chance we could bring out more fitments for you all.

Managed to find a reasonable tire shop and they were competent enough to mount the tires. They wouldn't install them because they thought the front might rub the inner fender so I put them on myself. It was close so I ended getting a 5mm spacer for the front and haven't had any problems.

So many positives about your 18x9" ET35 fitment for my Gen1 86

* Face2 concave goodness normally comes with your 18x9" ET35 fitment (18x9" ET42 only face 1)
* 18x9" ET35 gives extra front strut clearance (over the 18x9" ET42) so can run a wider tire / a bit of camber using camber bolts without needing a spacer
* 18x9" ET35 sits flush with the fender like the 18x9.5" ET40. But 18x9" ET35 fits without coilovers, which are needed for the 18x9.5" ET40

Very much hope you do a 18x9" ET35 SM-10RS in the future

I can totally see the sense of not wanting to do a ton of 18" fitments for our platform since most folks are going with 17's for track use, and being able to offer just one or two fitments that work for both Gen1 and Gen2 makes sense as well.

I wish the 17x8" was a 35mm offset rather than 40 (and that there was an 18x8" ET35 as well), but can totally get the decisions there for the same reasons above. I supposed there's always spacers, but that doesn't get the face concavity.

I'll just have to get my head around running 17x9" ET35 instead maybe, or waiting for coilovers to run the 18x9" ET42's (since I'm guessing they'll have the same fitment issues with PP struts in the front as the other wheels in this width and offset)...

Regardless, the fact that there's an SM-10 fitment at all for our cars now is awesome because it has always been my favourite of your wheel designs - thanks for that!

I guess one last question: are there any plans for a flow-formed SM-10 fitment going forward for the 86/BRZ, or will the forged SM-10RS be it?

All settled into our new place, I was ceramic coating the wheels and weighed them.

At the moment I can only say that we have some plans for our Flow-Formed line that we're hoping to share with the community later this year. Keep an eye out though!

OK, so ONE more question - on the fitment table, the 17x9" ET48 SM-10RS is listed as face profile C2. How does that compare to the other profiles (1, 2 and 3)? I'm guessing shallower than a 2 but not as shallow as a 1...?
