Eagerly waiting for that track to open...im afraid it'll be stupid expensive though, plus not sure when they'd open it to public since im pretty sure members and all sorts of motoring groups would get first crack at it.

Last time i ever took a car to a track was back when Race City still existed and i had a 2006 Corolla XRS. It was fun but i never felt the car was the right fit for the track. Having the car lowered about 2 inches (it was the tall/narrow generation with girnourmos wheel gap) helped and the intake made 2ZZ-GE VVTLi wail like a banshee when it kicked in yo!

A few clubs already have public days set for this year, Davenport, Track Junkies and Calgary Sports Car Club for sure I know of. They limit days per year for non members too so keep that in mind. Lucky I was able to get my first day there yesterday very early on.

How is the track? i saw some vids and it looks like theres a fair amount of elevation changes and lots of curves. Definately a fun looking track.

It’s pretty challenging compared to Rad Torque, have to really keep your eyes up. I also really like Strawberry Creek. Overall some really cool elements. Can’t wait until it’s all finished and greened up so it feels really special.

Anyone else headed to RMM on the 30th? Hopefully I'm not the only twin there.

Open track day there or something? How much do they charge for something like that?

Yep, open lapping day. Figured I would give it a shot and use one of my allotted 1/3 yearly non-member days.

I would love to...but not anytime soon...that shits expensive.

And i would have to take their "beginner track" course because thats a requirement to be on their track unless you have a fair amount of track experience.

I would also love to give my BMW X1 on that track, just to see how a BMW CUV handles a track environment lol (its equipped with the M-sport package with 19" wheels...so it looks the part from the factory). I'd need the wife's permission though, its actually her car

Will it work? Yes. Will it be fun? Probably not, you’ll be scrubbing tire shoulders and struggling under braking and cornering for sure. I can keep up to a Cayenne Turbo GT in the corners in my Echo on all seasons.

Well that car is a track monster so good that F1, WRC, and every other motorsports body banned it!

Anyone selling a hole-free gen1 trunk lid? Preference to lava or black, but no holes is more important than colour.

Anyone got an idea how much Calgary mechanics charge to drop the oil pan and remove RTV for Gen 2?
