I'm being a bit of a broken record here, but it doesn't pay to keep the same insurance company for a long period of time. Progressive is also the company that when I finally did opt to switch, the highest quote I got back was only 60% of what I was paying. Amusingly, it was also from Progressive. Went with a local company that was less than half of what I was paying for the same coverage, although I haven't had to file a claim with them yet. I give it two weeks after typing this. Maybe one after typing that.

I use a broker that reviews the different company's quotes annually at renewal. I may be with a different actual company every year. Pay a fee of course but it has always been offset by the savings and they can find deals that I never would.

I have AAA, and one of the perks is am insurance agent who will get competitive quotes for you whenever you ask. Not automatically, which would be great, but I do ask every year or three just to check.

me.. well sorta. I'll get up at basically the same time I always do. I just won't get to sleep in at all and by sleep in I mean wake up at the same time I always do. I just lay in bed for an extra 2 hours.

I pass an elementary school on the way to work. I went home for lunch and suddenly there are like 100 Canada Geese on the lawn. I guess they found a stash of snails or something. Tons o' honkers.

Also the border at the bridge moves far faster than the one in the airport.
Worth the couple of hour drive.
