I would agree, but they made them way too round to be boxy, know what I mean? It's like the car has no lines at all. Shaped like a beanbag chair. They're still super fun to drive, though.

Full disclosure: I had a mk6 GTI so I may be a bit biased
Did you take the wheels off your GTI and put them on your FR-S?

That's actually a really fair point. Modern GTI's are arguably too sleek for traditional hatch lovers, but not sporty enough to be good looking in a sports car sense. They are really fun to drive though (just don't drive one back to back with your 86).

I realized after posting that picture it might look like that. They're actually different wheels. I never intended to get that style of wheel on the FR-S, but got those in a trade. They've grown on me.

WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR FRS TODAY?

Mounted 255/40R17 Bridgestone RE71-Rs. I rub a little bit, but I hope an alignment will fix it.

Put it in storage. I drove it into the shop and disconnected the negative battery cable

Unless it warms up soon it'll be mostly taken apart.

I like it a lot. It sounds way better than my previous exhaust which was just a muffler delete.
