Welcome to the forums!
You should head on over to the engine/exhaust sub-forum. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=8 Actually, I think there are a couple megan racing threads in that forum already. You could try the search function to see what comes up. You will get two answers to your question about Megan. 1.) There are a very vocal group of people who will say Megan Racing is junk and you should never buy from them. 2.) There is a group of people who have owned Megan products and had good luck with them and would say they are worth the money. I happen to fall in the second group. I've had quite a few megan exhaust and other parts and have never had a problem. I like the designs and I think the prices are great. Now.. having said that.. I'm still on the fence about this exhaust. My problem is in the design. The pictures I've seen show that the pipe hangs too low around the rear diff. I worry about hitting it on debris, bumps, rocks, etc.. If anyone on this forum has one.. I'd love to hear a review. |

Sup guys. I got the Megan Racing 4" Dual Titanium Roll Tip NA Catback Exhaust install on my car and I absolutely love it. The quality is actually quite nice. You can check out the welding job from the pics. For a dual canisters system, it is pretty light in weight. Installation was easy. 4 lugs and 5 hangers and you're done. I think the hardest part was removing the stock exhaust from the hangers. But with WD40 and some wiggling action, it came right out. The exhaust has a nice loud deep bass to it. There is some droning while cruising the freeway, but its bearable. I'll post a video later when I have time.

Thanks a ton Halotolerance! That looks fantastic!
I would love to hear the sound clip.. especially an in-car on the highway to hear drone. Did they send silencers with this model? Is the dark coating on the pipes from them? or did you coat them with something? That flange does hang a little low beside the rear dif.. but not as bad as some other pictures I had seen from Megan. That would be acceptable to me. have you heart it hit on anything at all? Thanks again for posting! |

I'm looking at this one too, I'd love to hear about any drone. I don't care what people say about longevity, construction, etc. these are so reasonably priced that I'd rebuy in 3-4 years if I liked it. But I won't drive it for a week if it drone booms in the cabin.
Any driving reports??? |

Hi! I've seen videos of this exhaust and I liked their sound. You are happy with? There is some drone in the cabin?
In reference to the height of the exhaust to the ground ..... I found a problem? Any change in the response of the car? That video is more like the sound? [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5W5vJc75c0"]Megan Racing 2012 Scion FRS / Subaru BRZ V2 Catback Exhaust - YouTube[/ame] [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_n8DduFtTg"]Megan Racing NA Exhaust Scion FRS - YouTube[/ame] It's the same n / a to v2? Annoying from the outside? called the attention of the police? Thank you so much! |

Hi! photographs would need this exhaust, seen from behind, for the height to the ground, at the point where the exhaust pipe runs alongside the rear differential.
thank you very much |
