2017 SVX concept

So this just dropped into my Subarunet email this morning.. I know its not a BRz/FR-S but dayuummm..

Hybrid subaru rivaling the tesla model s, lexus side plug in for charge and up to 375 whp..

Probably twice the price of the twins but sexy as hell..

Thoughts?

So....so....so many angles to wash.

And +1 on the cubist-era transformer.

Ofc its just a concept, by the time they actually produce this car it won't look as transformery as the concept does.

All concepts as well lol. No news on a BrZ turbo. Convertible is true and in design shop. Hatch wont drop until 2019. Subaru changes body style every 2 years so were stuck with the volvo looking wrx/sti for now. The 2017 is only slightly modded compared to the current version.

That's a very busy look. Wonder what the aerodynamic must be like.

I'm sure they will take out some/most of the agressive lines once they widdle down the concept into a practical model. All concept looks have a ton of lines and extra features that would never be practical for everyday use and are more for drawing your attention and comments in, then the work off that and fine tune it to a workable model.

It doesn't look bad, although I'd prefer it to be a little softer and rounder instead of all sharp. The yellow interior lighting needs to go, though.

Agreed. Needs to be red or blue with dark colored seats. I like the rough look, makes it not look like a rip off of the Tesla.

Anyone notice the pedals yet?

Concepts are just that and it does not mean they will actually ever build them much less change them.
Turbo has been flat out denied and ruled out by official statements several times.
Convertible project was dropped a year ago in an official news release from Toyota.
There is not one single official word about a hatch beyond the initial concept reveal so giving a release year is pure speculation.
And don't you dare to link to some blog to try to say "but look it says it here"

Click the other links on that website. 2016 brz sti turbo, 2016 brz convertible, 2017 wrx sti hatch.

It's just click bait. And speculation on top of more speculation on top of even more speculation.

Until I see an official press release or real concept instead of just artist renditions, it's just click bait and pipe dreams.
