"TAC" sound when moving off
Hi,
Had my car, RHD BRZ, for around 10 months now. 1) Recently, the car started to emit a "TAC" sound from the driver side door area when the car is moving off from a stop. Sounds as if there is some movement due to slack between 2 pieces of metal. Its the kind of sound that I believe either tightening or lubrication can help, just need to find a spot. Been trying to locate the sound. At first I thought it could be the bolts holding down the driver seat but it doesn't seem to be as I could not replicate it. I tried to WD40 the door hinges, but the sound still comes and go. 2) Also, there is a kind of light tapping sound from the left rear. Sprayed all the WD40 and all as per the rear deck rattling sound. Its not that kind of sound. Sound comes out typically when the left rear goes over a bump or the car is travelling onto a slope. Wonder if anyone has experience in the above areas. Cheers |

wiggle door up and down, see if its door latch.
Also, WD40 is not a lubricant. |

The sound coming from the trunk could be part where the jack is, and it moves up and down as you go over bumps. I've heard other people having the same "issue" and that was the cause.
