PA recently made it not illegal to sell big fireworks to PA residents. Yes, I typed that correctly. Never stopped people before though.

dude last weekend killed the 4th of July plans we had. dinner and drinks after work and training friday, Saturday we went to the Atlanta United game, Sunday we worked at the barn all morning then went to pregame at http://batteryatl.com/ for the Pretenders, Journey and Def Leopard concert. Then after drinking all day(really 3 days) we walked what I would guess is about 1.5-2miles home after getting soaked in the rain.

I just want to lay down and rot for like a week.

GF booked some massages etc this weekend so hopefully I'll have more energy for next week. this last one has been brutal.

Illegal here for decades, any and all kinds, even sparklers. They raised the fine to $5000 and have a huge "narc on your neighbor" campaign this year. Didn't do much.

Georgia legalized fireworks about 2 or 3 years ago, and that has definitely escalated the subdivision arms race. It was never difficult since in the Atlanta area you are within a short drive of both AL and TN where they have always been legal but you did have to dodge the cops on occasion if someone complained.

Now, even those that previously were not willing to skirt the law seem to participate and its definitely go big or go home.

Of course, given that I was one of the ones that used to take his sons on road trips to AL just to buy for the 4th, I can't exactly complain. I am a total pyro at heart.

Another day, another douchebag driving out of his luxury condo complex driveway at 25mph turning right onto the street without stopping to check traffic as I come from the left, and the whole time his head was pointing away from oncoming traffic.

Had to honk for probably 15 seconds to get his attention and get him to stop before I would've hit him. And even then he barely acknowledged me.

I really struggle to understand how the hell people not only are allowed to get licenses, but also how they can get insurance policies on BMW 5/6-series cars with how shitty a driver they are.

I think most of our rednecks just drove to some open areas outside the city. People in Cali must pay a fortune for their fireworks. Prolly more expensive than weed now.

I think in the last couple years, every time I have been seriously cut off/etc. by another car, and I mean to the point of having to take corrective action to avoid an accident, it has been a BMW.
