The Blizzard

I wanted to make one of these earlier, but never got around to it. A little back story first. While in Germany, I saw a car very peculiar to me. Upon further analysis, I found it to be a black 2013 FR-S. The love was instant and the desire was needed. I moved back from Germany after two years and saved up a bunch of my hard earned cash. Making sure I had enough credit, I test drove a steel 2013 FR-S and my love grew stronger. Within the next few days, of April 2014, I was a proud owner of a 2014 Whiteout FR-S.

As the months progressed, I made a few cosmetic changes. Some stickers for extra HP, and the lights.

Car meet in Cary, NC with my new Boomerang headlights.

Most recent, done right after Christmas was my vinyl stickers I had custom ordered for melted snickers bars and giggles.

Now comes the fun part of the journal. I have in mind some things I want to do to the car, but in other aspects, I have no idea what I'm doing (hence one of the reasons why I'm making this). I wanted to see what the community (i.e. you!) had in mind, what worked for you, etc. Maybe get a few good ideas and build my car together. Listed below will be segments that are split up into areas of improvement and what I am building for:

*Main goal= Something cool to drive to work everyday, but can take to the track once in a while.*

Body: Rocket Bunny attachments

Intake: Keeping the same(?), swapping the air filter, removing the tube that runs from the intake to under the passenger seat for sound quality

Engine: Was looking at a twin Screw Supercharger, but open for ideas. I wanted to do an engine swap, but it would probably be one of my later projects

Coilovers: I traded a set for my old head lights, we'll see how they look later.

Tires/Rims: I'm looking for a specific kind of look, but won't know it until I see it (maybe:http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17703)
-I painted my calipers/lugs Ice Blue, looks pretty sharp IMO

Exhaust: Keeping it simple for now, wanting to add a HKS Catback Exhaust
[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdVCUKEqFLw"]SCION FR-S HKS EXHAUST SOUND - YouTube[/ame]

Interior: I added some LED blue lights, but wanting a better shift knob. Interior isn't too important right at the moment though.

There's only a few things on the list, but they are the important ones for now. Like I said, this is an open journal to help elaborate/cross ideas. As the car updates, I will update this first post to keep it cleaned up a bit. Thanks for the help in advance!

K&N makes a nice dry drop in air filter for less than $50 that shows similar gains to a full CAI. I believe it was around 2-3 horsepower throughout the rev range but performs noticeably than stock better in the upper reaches of our powerband.

I actually saw that the other day and can add as much as 5 HP. Definitely look into getting one once I get the sizing.

Quick update: Waiting on funding for the exhaust (take care of that and intake at the same time). In the mean time, I've been looking at future rims for a while now and wanted to know if you guys/gals have any comments/input about wheels. I'm thinking between these two:

Enkei RPF1 (1st attached)

Volk Racing TE37 (2nd attached)

Quick update: K&N filter in the mail. Once it comes in Friday, I'll install that and remove the sound tube. Another guy offered to swap my old stock lights for a suspension system, so I might be doing that soon, too. Also, I'll be tinting my windows soon. I'll post a picture when that's done.

Let's say price doesn't necessarily matter.

Removed front and rear emblem, soon to be replaced with something better. Also, wanted to see what orange looked like. I've gotten good comments so far

I'm having Katakana Toyota emblems mailed to me as I post this. They should be here soon. I'll update here once they're on.

I haven't updated for a bit, not much has happened to the car. I took the decals off the sides and placed my new emblems on (pic coming soon, maybe). I was browsing some parts and found these:

Any thoughts?
