Yeah, I’m a little curious if they actually tried to hit 500. I hope they filmed it...

Next summer depending on what happens. You may see that stock block go to a 2.2L and the turbo go from the 3076 to a 6766.

That is nuts! How many miles has it run at that power now?

Now...that video is old like 2014 old, so the motor probably blew or the engine got built, but I'm curious as well. Obviously the car could be driven without ever using that power, so any years or mileage specified would need to come with specifics.

Thats a good point. If you look at the curve, it mostly comes on fast at the high end. Its much more conservative down low. If you don't drive it to redline, you probably never see more than 300.

I'm never disappointed when I see Zach's work, this time is no exception. Congrats on the tune, that looks fun as hell!

From the UK, graph is BHP, engine power not at the wheels.

- "Stage 4" Avo Turbo kit but with direct fit replacement GTX3076 by Fensport Performance

- Stock pistons, machined Manley turbo tuff conrods, ton of oiling mods, 1.45mm head gaskets, Kelford valve springs. 11.6:1 compression, super simple build to test limits of stock pistons. Engine built by me at Fensport Performance

- Shell Vpower 99 Ron pump fuel with direct port, pre throttle and turbo volute methanol injection, replacing roughly 20% of fueling with methanol. Pure methanol no water.

- Tuned by me at Fensport Performance - www.fensport.co.uk

- higher run is 1.4bar with meth. Lower run is 1.3bar no meth.

The car is used daily, I'm now at 1.6bar with some more methanol so need to go back and see if we can crack 500bhp on the stock pistons but I am very happy with it so far.

Are you able to share details on the oiling mods? Thanks

I have honestly never seen on a dynograph, someone crack 300whp on the 7psi wastegate spring. Air quality was good that day, air temp around 67F. The listed torque numbers seem to be around what most show on the 7psi spring, but the whp, I don't know if it was just the dyno, or what. Zach is an elite tuner. Very excited to have had the opportunity to be tuned by him.
