Congrats! I secretly love these cars.

Looks you opted for the Akrapovic exhaust?

Yeah. The two must haves were the carbon fiber roof and the Acra exhaust. The sport exhaust (essentially no mufflers) is just too loud and it drones. The Acra is perfect. Loud, but no drone.

There are some good deals on these cars. I got a little over 14,000 off MSRP. Brand new.

Hard to believe this car weighs less than the 86.

Congrats! Looks sharp in that color combination. My only wish is that they offer a manual transmission.

I think that's everybody's wish, but it just wouldn't work with this car. The twin clutch rev matches and keeps the 21psi single turbo on boost when you need it. What's nice is that the twin clutch is not refined AKA boring. This twin clutch is rough and abrupt just the way I like it. Especially in dynamic or race mode.

Here's another picture of the red seats which I wanted. Wheels are staggered at 18 front and 19 rear.

Congrats, awesome! Love these cars. I hope they age gracefully so we'll get good used examples to be able to buy.

Why wouldn't a manual work with the car?

Look ... I love manuals also. Had them in the FR-S and EVERY sports car I've ever owned. But a manual is low tech. Low tech in a high tech car just makes no sense. The twin clutch, throttle response, driving dynamics, exhaust volume, nannies are all inter-related and computer controlled to maximize the performance of the car.

Also ..... you have to keep BOTH hands on the steering wheel. The car is a little jumpy, twitchy.

I've actually enjoyed the paddles. To reiterate ... there is nothing smooth about this twin clutch ... which is why I like it.

No power steering (unless I heard wrong?) is the important point there.

Im with you on the 'aggressive dcts are a riot' thing. Drove a friend's M3 with a pdk trans, and there's something about that thudthud that made me smile every single gear change. But I still prefer my 3 pedals .

You're right. Not sure how I forgot. Yes. No power steering.
Agree. 3 pedals is fun.

For me the most impressive thing about this car is that they have produced a carbon fiber tub at this price point.
