In short, the STX cars are the more highly modified cars but still naturally aspirated. The FRS/BRZ are also competitive in C Street which is pretty much stock cars with some very minor modifications allowed. For this event there is a provisional 86 class which any non-experienced FR-S/BRZ can enter without needing to worry about the classing subtleties.

Sorry, didn't mean to jack your thread. Was just sharing info because @stockysnail didn't want to make the drive to Packwood.

Alright guys, I need to know who is actually going to go to this because as of right now we only have two people pre-registered for the class and one of them can't actually run it. If you're going to attend for sure please chime in. This is happening in 10 days so it's go or no time.

Exclamation

We're changing the time schedule on this a little bit. The people that are registered expressed interest in showing up very early morning so they could run both morning and afternoon and get 8 runs for the day (for about $80).

Pre-meet will now be at McDonalds in Enumclaw at 6:45AM and will leave for Packwood promptly at 7:15AM at the latest. Possibly earlier if everyone who signs up is there already. It's about a 1 hour, 15 minute drive out to Packwood from Enumclaw. Registration closes at approximately 8:30AM so if you can't make the cruise try to be there no later than 8:15. Please chime in if you plan to attend but aren't pre-registered on the website yet as we'll be using the website registration list to determine who is/isn't at the pre-meet yet.

We are less than one week away from this event! Looks like we have a 5 driver class thus far and the weather forecast is great. Pre-registration closes Thursday evening at 6:00PM and after that the cost is $35 + $15 weekend membership for the morning instead of $30+15.

The pre-meet will be led by @slyphen / Jim who has been out to Packwood several times. He'll get you all there safely and on time, ready to race. See you guys soon!

Just got back from Packwood this weekend. You guys going to set up the national style course using the chalk lines that are already there?

I'm debating whether to chalk in the new course or not but it will not use existing chalk. Did OR region chalk it or something?

We used the existing chalking from the national tour stuff. It's a little faded, so you'll probably have to broom off all the rest if you plant on a different design than that.

Last day to pre-register! There's no cost to pre-register and there's no harm if you pre-register and don't show up. Please go tohttp://scorekeeper.wwscc.org/register/nwr2016/ to register (choose 86 Sessions Provisional as your car's class) to get signed up! After 6:00PM tonight registration will close and it will be $5 extra to register on site Sunday morning.

Is this class meant to be for novices only? Well darn.
