To be fair, the track he used was favoring stock 86 more than modded 86. That track had so many tight corners, stop, go, stop go. Resulting turbo lag plus not fully warmed up tires, couldn't get the time it could of got.
But, we can learn something from that vid though. Right suspension, brake & tire setup with light engine tune, we might have chance to make FI 86 run for it's money... as long as we have the right driver lol |

the GT86R would've went better with it's usual driver Adrian, he certainly knows how to drive it well, beating a lot of cars including awd cars on wet tracks, also great at mapping cars

Notice how much more he was on the gas pushing the stock 86 to keep "momentum" as he said up. Pretty interesting! The 500hp he couldn't stay on the gas long at all already approaching the next turn lol
