Sorry to hear, homes are expensive as well, and a difficult step to make, especially when you need to start going through assets. I hope the best for her and your extended family

This is specifically why I don't sell anything anymore. Common items go to thrift stores, specialty items are given to anyone that desires them..

Same here and yet I keep going back to the same sites. Funny how I keep getting the same spammers, scammers, scum suckers and just plain stupid people. Right now I have the wife's 2016 STi up for sale on Kijiji.ca, Autotrader.ca and Facebook Market Place. I priced it at $29750. Which is a couple grand below similar 2015,16 & 17 cars. I did so knowing that people would offer even less. Well guess what? The very first email I got was; "$20k CASH! RIGHT NOW!!! call me I don't do text or email"

Here in the South we don't get low-ball offers we get bartering offers. Last thing I sold directly (my Honda 919 motorcycle) the first offer I got was for a trade of a bass boat or a '64 Ford pickup that would "crank right up, if you fiddle with it some". I also got offered a hang glider with a custom car carrier.

the "CASH!!" part is always ironically funny to me, as i wouldn't really accept much else...

is there a discount in paying by whale blubber, but an increase if paying in chickens?

Part on the right is freshly heat treated 4140 chromoly HRC 35-38. Part on the left is same material and heat treat, it's the head spacer for my 150 ton punch. 500ish cycles and it started extruding itself into the threads of the retaining nut. Pretty crazy. Only reason I noticed it is it kept breaking punch tools because they wouldn't seat flat anymore.

I swore off factory turbo Subarus after my WRX, what a basket case. But I understand the frustration trying to sell a car. Selling that WRX was such a pain in the butt... new owner crashed it in a blizzard about 3 weeks after I sold it. All because he didn't listen when I said 'it's on dead winter tires, I would strongly advise new ones'.

150tons is a hell of a drug. I mean force!

I've been in the Subie community for over 2 decades and we've had three turbo STi's. Never had an issue with any of them. My 2006 was Subaru Canada's president's car for thee months. Then it was leased out to a journalist. If you did a search back in the day it was my WRB STi that was usually at the top as it was in all the mags.
I flogged that thing daily for 13 years and over 280K. Other than routine maintenance it only needed a couple of air sensors, a windshield and tail light bulbs. Oh and one battery.
Here it is, (still on the internet) before I bought it. These were for a Toronto life style magazine.

I really want to go here on my trip but my friends said it's a little too far to go there compared to the other areas we'll group drive to together. I'd probably have to rent the 86 an extra day but I'm trying not to make car stuff the whole trip .

That's how all my trips turn into anyways.

I take the truck, suddenly there's a twisty backroad that makes me wish I took the car.

I take the car, suddenly I find something getting thrown out that I need the truck for.

And if I ride with a family member somewhere, I end up regretting not being able to take both!

For the past 15 mins I was randomly going through tons of residential streets in Meguro City, cuz why not, looking for a parked twin. I wasn't finding one anywhere.

I clicked on the lower left map area to make it bigger, randomly dropped a pin on a random spot on the map, and BOOM! A white 86 like mine, with the same front bumper I have. Crazy shit.

I actually said "No fucking way!"

Edit: hah, nice, and if you go down the street a bit and look up the most recent photo which is Oct 22, you can see he got a red GR86.
