Every time I see one of those I just SMFH.
A: If you know a little about how to use a computer, there are emulators.
B: You can still buy working NES/SNES/N64/ect for relatively cheap with games.

Thoughts while IMing a coworker:

"Wait, I'm being a **** again, aren't I?"
adds a smiley emoji
"Alright, we're cool now."

Cleaned out the basement a few weeks ago. Found a working Nintedo with about 6 game. A working Nintendo 2 with about 8 games. A working Atari with about 12 games. The grandady of them all was a Pong game but I didn't have a power source for it so don't know if it still works.
I had forgot we still had them all but my grandsons were overjoyed with the vintage gaming inheritance they now have.

I have about zero interest in retro gaming, outside of having a gameboy emulator on my phone and my work laptop. The only ROM I have for them both is Pokemon Blue.

Here's a question for those who know a little something about routers. I have a TPLink Archer C7 and yesterday, it just entirely shit the bed. It all started when it would just drop wireless connectivity, and would require a power cycle to work again. Then, it started needing that more frequently, like every 15-30 minutes. Eventually, it stopped working wirelessly altogether. I tried a hardware reset, I tried updating the firmware, I tried going into the online utility and changing the settings up, and nothing worked.

I finally gave up on it after I saw the same unit was on sale at a computer shop just down the road. Went and picked it up yesterday afternoon. Well, it just dropped connection again a few minutes ago. Am I likely going to get into the same mess?

My question is ultimately, did I just end up picking out a really bad router? The reviews I read on it were all positive, so it seems like people are generally happy with it.

I think I have about a half dozen routers in a box in the basement ......

NOW, I just call Comcast (internet cable provider) and tell them to come out and fix their POS ....... by noon tomorrow.

See how simple I made it .......

OK, is your router hooked through a battery backup power supply ......??

You might try changing the location of your router.
