That's strictly a winter thing that happens. In the spring and summer the fluid in the can is a lot darker and clearer, and there aren't any strange globs in the can.
Looks like water to me. I've fired up motorcycles and seen this froth in oil through the sight glass in the crankcase. (Also in the drain pans) Happens to bikes when the owners fire them up during the cold months. They don't allow the engines to get up to and then stay at temperature to dry everything out before shutting 'em off. Happens to cars too. That's why I always change my BRZ's oil every spring. I have had to drive mine a time or two during the winter.

Shouldn't you have some kind of mesh screen in front of that nice intercooler to protect it from rocks?

I'm undecided if I want to replace the original grill (mine fell out and became one with nature) or if I want to make something. Something will go there, I will probably get a stock replacement for the time being and give it some epoxy to be sure it stays put.

Car wouldn’t start, battery is on a tender, hoping that’s all it is after a good charge cycle, going to break out the voltmeter on Monday if not and start checking components and harness. P0102 P0123 P0340 and P0345

I just hope it’s something dumb and I didn’t get the timing wrong again and have to crack it open.

just means you need to make the scion logo on the hood out of these

or at least a smiley face.

Main engine connector 12V pin was loose, I’m able to push it in and out about an eighth of an inch, another pin was bent, pushed the 12v back into place and unbent the other pin and good to go. What a pain in the ass, hope I don’t have to replace that connector.

Car finally runs, should be ready for Vegas ProSolo

What lead you to the connection? That would be a pain to figure out.
