After a few quick searches, I found that Wallenius Wilhelmsen (which sounds like a villian from Archer) manages the Baltimore imports for SOA, and they have a website to track their vessels from Yokohama.

Any BRZs on the vessels arriving on 10/16, 10/17, and 10/24 would've been built before the Gunma shutdown from 9/7 to 9/22. But it seems kind of late if no VINs have been matched yet, especially for the first 2 vessels.

The arrivals for 11/2, 11/3, and 11/4 seem more promising. But the vessel arriving on 11/3 left Yokohama only 5 days after the shutdown ended so I'm guessing that may be too tight of a timeframe from production to export. So will it be the Tiger or the Tombarra?

And yes, I have nothing better to do on a rainy afternoon.

Instructions also state you have to drill a hole in your firewall and has a template to properly drill your hole for the wiring to pass through. It also has a round rubber gasket to fill your new hole and keep it water proof."

I'm in love with these vent lights but not too keen on drilling a hole in the firewall + ~$700 hoping the aftermarket gives a much easier and cheaper solution

I’m sure there’s an existing grommet you can use too. Plenty of other harnesses go through the firewall.

Hey @trippinbillies40, my dealer said my accessories I ordered with the car, ship with the car to the dealership. Does that sound correct? I thought I remembered you saying the parts department at the dealership had to order them separately.

These are currently the only accessories that can be installed on the car before it arrives at the dealership.

Auto‐Dimming Mirror with Compass and HomeLink
Cargo Net
Cargo Tray
Sunshade
All‐Weather Floor Liners
Door Edge Guards
Door Scuff Protector
Rear Bumper Applique
Wheel Locks ‐ Alloy
Wheel Lug Nut and Lock Set ‐ Black
Short Throw Shifter
STI Shift Knob ‐ 6MT
Exterior Graphics Kit ‐ Side
Footwell Illumination
LED Upgrade ‐ Dome Light
Vortex Generator

When creating a Sold Order, the retailer can price out additional available parts besides these (before installation/labor). For example, the STI Lip Kits.

Yeah I know those are the only ones that are installed on the car, but my dealer is telling me the STI accessories (aero parts) ship with the car and they install them at the dealership.

It's not possible to order the STI aero parts with the car as they're not port installed. The port will not have those parts to even throw in the car. 100% positive I am correct on this.

Your sales person might be thinking of a couple special edition cars Subaru did like the S209 and Type RA that included the front lip. Those came in a box in the car. For BRZ, that's a dealer-install only item so will need to be ordered by your store. Have a chat with the sales manager and parts manager on this. They should hopefully be pretty familiar with this process.

That all having been said, there's no STI aero parts in the US at this point when I checked a couple days ago.

A few cars are showing up on cars.com. The highest VIN is 384 so it seems like a decent number have been built.

Has anyone taken delivery? Looks like a few were possibly dropped off in Georgia and Puerto Rico.

Got a window sticker for my car with VAN# (not sure what it is) from my dealer in NJ. No VIN on it yet. Confirmed that car is in their Nov allocation - no exact ETA yet. Ordered 8/2
