Monogram vs BRZ Limited

on the monogram the usb/audio jack is still at the center console and in the brz its in the glove box

Do what now? The only electrical system item in the brz (I own a 2014
Limited, btw) is a 12V outlet. USB/Aux in the brz is in the same place as in the frs.

Nice to hear for the monogram series that they moved it to the center console. I did that for my brz on my own (well, added a 2nd USB/aux port there & moved the 12V center console outlet up a few inches) & it's very practical.

Oh I don't think he thinks he's got shit (taking him at his word), just the general lack of experience coupled with new-found revelation that driving stick is awesome (something most teenagers don't know & are too busy texting on their iPhones to care about) makes him sound like a know-it-all. Generally the same reason teens in general drive upper twenty somethings & older absolutely nuts.

Give him till he's twenty five & it should wear off with the miles put into driving, and dollars spent insuring, fueling, and maintaining this practical & very fun car on his own. Then the little "luxury" items begin to make sense as simple "makes it usable as a daily" items.

Right now though, I'm sure he thinks that if he just drives it right, an Elise would make an acceptable, if raw & "pure", daily. It's a seeming arrogance born of inexperience and lack of maturity that can only come with time in the seat.

sorry heres what i meant. the usb/aux jack is still on the same place. like in the 10series



i thought all of the brz's usb/auxillary jack was in the glove box. is it not?

Nope. Never was. Everything's in the exact same place because it's the exact same car.

Canadian model maybe? 100% my usb is in the dash, and a blank spot where it is on the frs. i can take pics if needed,

its annoying, i havent really looked but i dont think theres a way to have the wire out and the glove box still closed.

I thought we were talking about the Monogram compared to the Limited?

The USB jack is to the right of the start button in the Monogram, 10, and Limited. There's only a power outlet in the glove in those.

Oh sorry I thought you were saying the brz and 10/ mono all have USB in the same place, just thought id chime in and say my 13' limited has it in the glove.

I loving having my USB and aux in the glovebox. I can throw my iPod in there and keep it connected, completely out of sight.

Yes for almost all the scions. The stock Subaru Navi is crap for sound quality, whereas at least those driving scions get a deck made by pioneer. the speakers are all the same between the twins, but the headunits are different and scion gets the better deal by far with them.
