I'm pretty sure number 1 is coming from passenger side rear seat latch when the rear seat is up. I'll have to wrap it in rubber to be sure.

I'll let you know how I go.

Ah thanks, I somehow missed that reference to the other post, but I did end up in that thread eventually. I assumed that was it it was (much later after I already bent the tab, haha). Thanks again for the info.

Either way it fixed my rattling issue. If I find myself in New Zealand I am buying you a pint.
You know I will take you up on that offer if you ever make it to NZ!!! :happy0180:

Tried this.. seems to have worked...

Actually had a squeaking/clicking noise so loud that my passenger noted it. (Rear seat backrest was in lowered position.) I did the bend of the tab last night and today.. not a sound. Here's hoping it is a permanent fix.

Thanks to OP!

Excellent, good to hear it worked for you. Not a peep from mine since doing this. Seems to be a permanent fix.

Thanks for this! Will definitely try it today.
Did it work or you?

As far as I can tell, it's gone. Haven't really kept the music down for long periods to fully test it, but seems to have worked.
