MGTF?
Made me go back and look at the picture.
Nice looking car.
Had me confused, I recently sold my 1933 MG J2, 847 cc. 36 BHP.

Love the avatar; “Racer x”, Speed Racer’s older brother.

I’ll be 52 in a few weeks (from Canada), and this is my first year with my 2016 scion.

Have somehow managed to avoid any tickets thus far!
Cheers!

Hi,

Kind of new here but got a good look around in the past year and like this funny group this car attracts.

Very near 65 Yrs, picked up a BRZ in April and it meets my expectations, no regrets!

My alternate “color” was White, but just about all my neighbours beat me to it.

I’m coming from a car history of only Hondas since …1977 (SI, SIR, a few early Ludes, and presently holding on to a quite reliable & cheap running Fit.) I like to keep my cars for as long as I can, and unless they get totalled, rusted-out or stolen that plan has mostly worked out…

So learning lots of new tricks here.. The Twins story just re ignited my want for a spirited good looking car again while keeping things simple, semi cheap to run, small, practical for my other passions and as a competent part time long distance cruiser able to release some emotional motivation to just drive the shit out of it when the required road presents itself. Reminds me a lot of My SIR, not real fast, nothing would happen low down but hell of a sound/ride if kept at/over 5.5 to 8K rpm.

My last Plymouth Rock was the coolest chicken I ever had. She would sit in my lap and drink beer with me. She would just jump in my lap, rest her head on me, and purr.

Very cool. 56 here. Welcome to the club.

Ha!, Im a City boy... Had to lookup what a "Rock" was. This one does fit the definition of the breed, Was visiting at my sisters place 5600km.
What a learning experience that was around real animals .
But I still stop for chicks...

So how about it? Anyone else out there? Am I the only 60-something BRZ owner in the world?

(Excuse me while I go chase some neighborhood kids off my lawn).
I am 61 and have had my BRZ for over five years, with no plans to sell, unless the new model comes out in 2021.

Great story, I too was at the dealership when I saw my first one up close. I didn't sit in it but I would have if we weren't in a hurry to get his car. A year later I saw one for sale while driving past the dealership. I hurried home, cleaned out my Tribeca and grabbed the title. An hour later a white BRZ Limited was sitting in my driveway.
