Anyone want some brand new stock Series.Blue wheels?
So I've grown to like everything on my car except for the wheels. I just never liked black wheels. I'm thinking I might order some different wheels when I order my snow tires so that they will come mounted and balanced and I can put them on myself.
Is there anyone who might be interested in the OEM black STi wheels that come with the Series.Blue stock? I haven't even had the car two weeks yet so they are brand new! |

Yeah I will. I'm not home at the moment so I just threw this up from my phone. I'll do a more proper marketplace post one of these days when I have time.

I think what Turbo95eg6 was politely trying to say is please don't spam the board with your for sale listing when we have a separate board for that to keep this one clear of this kind of thing.

My apologies. The last board I was a part of did not tend to see the things I posted in the For Sale section, so I had become accustomed to posting them in the General thread, where I would then get lots of replies.

If you care about resale of your special edition car, you'd be wise to keep all the factory parts
I wasn't a huge fan either, but when they're clean and shiny they look damn good... |

Those are rare factory wheels. I'd hold on to them.

I was going to say keep them. These are pretty rare cars to begin with, and the blues will catch a pretty penny again down the road. Those rims will be a big selling factor to some for sure. However, you are in a dreaded salt state so it really doe me not matter as that car will be a pile of rust in about 7 years anyways if you plan on driving in the winter. I live in southern Cali and the bottom of my car has a little rust on some parts already, and my car has never even seen rain. I can't imagine what the roads back there are going to do to that poor car. Oh well, it just makes me want to trade mine up for a series blue as their value will probably hold pretty well depending on how many will meet their rusty fate in those dreadee salt states. Not to mention the others that will get wrapped around a telephone pole or tank slapped beyond repair at the local track.

Yeah, you guys have pretty much convinced me to keep the wheels, lol.
Though honestly this car is in it for the long haul unless I suddenly get a massive pay raise, lol, so I'm not too worried about trade-in value and whatnot. |

I'm with you. I don't particularly care for the black wheel look. Wheels should have some bling to them.
I thought it would be cool to take a set of stock wheels, (since there are a lot available) strip them and have the graphite area painted WRB, keep the polished areas, then re clear coat. |

Agreeing with all these dudes: keep those wheels. If you don't like them, just box em up and shove them somewhere in case you want to sell the car later. People love their special factory wheels.
