Latest Compressor fitting came in the mail today and it fits well. Last thing I need is to get the fittings welded, and crimped. Plan on buying my own crimper though. Just in case I ever need to do it again.
That being said, the rear diff now has a leak -_- Only showed up after a trip about an hour out of town and back. Will need to track that down. I am guessing an axle seal.

Well I finally started spending money again. Though not a lot. Just enough to remove the heads and put them back on if I don't find anything. Though I think I am going to order some Johnson Lifters as well.
Possible career change may allow a bit more money to be spent as well. Hoping that goes well.

Lifters arrived. Getting the tires mounted for the Miata so I can tear down the FRS (well, remove the heads) and see what all is going on.
Excited and nervous at the same time.

Well I think the Turbo build has commenced. Turbo manifolds are on their way ($95 on eBay right now with good reviews lol)
Waiting to hear back on a friend of mine who recently started selling parts. His wholesale account lists Wiseco and King Bearing on their line card, and even on their website from what I can tell, but getting a price is being told they aren't carried. So working that through to get new bearings and rings. Going to just re-ring the pistons and hone the cylinders. Running Two VS Racing Next Gen 62/62 and either a CX Racing or Treadstone Twin entry to single exit intercooler. Will need to work on ducting to keep everything cool. Ordered some tool to make sure everything is correct: (Also think I got my 3D printer squared away so I can start printing new hood vents in a better material) More updates to come as I start tearing into the car and doing a lot more custom fab work.

I was told I didn't need more power until I could hold 4th and 5th WOT and it didn't bother me any. Been that way for awhile haha. Shooting for the 700whp I set out to make and I think I might pass that with base boost, but we will find out. Will require quite a few Chassis mods at this point as well. Big wing (Nine Lives Racing) and some 315s are on the list (as they have been for awhile now).

Oh this is quite interesting. I have been contemplating putting a corvette ECS or A&A supercharger on mine. Shoot for maybe 800whp. But depending how this works out, turbo may be a nice option as it's less stress on the crank.

Shouldn't be too bad a price either. I just hope the turbos won't be too small, research says they may be a bottleneck. In the end I am not shooting for 1000hp so I am not too worried.

Was one of the reason I chose the headers I did. I can simply turn them around and build a short pipe up to some turbos. Or keep them regular orientation and fab up some easy pipe for the regular exhaust. |

That last shot looks like their TIG welder died and someone said 'f*ck it, lets just MIG weld the last joint'
