I keep mine in the garage. If you have a good can with a lid that seals well you don't get a smell.

I would rather leave it outside but would probably have animals constantly trying to get into it/knock it over and I really don't need to be attracting additional wildlife.

Quite a few but, only one set that can bench 3.5 tons. Big gurl.

Yeah, I know, I'm a wimp when it comes to storms. That must have sucked.

Fun fact, my second day in Wichita Kansas ended with a whole bunch of tornadoes wrecking the place that night. And my first day in San Francisco started with an earthquake. Like a little 3.5, but still an earthquake on my first day!

That sounds about right. Little black cloud following behind. Honestly not bad compared to the tornados in the midwest. Happy to get a weeks warning. Financially though it was devistating and a major drag to recover from taking a couple years. 1 star review.

MY GARBAGE DON'T STINK! - - take that!

Seriously, it's against the rules to put any food stuff in the "garbage" - go figure - So, all that stinky stuff goes down the garbage disposal. If the garbage disposal doesn't like it, it goes into the compost pile at the back of the lot (unless I'm in a hurry, then I just throw it off the deck).

Now, the opossums, raccoons, foxes, stray dogs, coyotes and occasional bear, don't know that their ain't nutten for them to eat in our garbage cans, so, they have to tear into them to make sure anyway -

The gaze of raccoons we have in our area are quite adept at defeating any kind of closing device/ lid one can put on a trash can. The bears don't take the time to unfasten the lid, they just tear it off.

So, that's the reason the garbage cans are kept in the garage -

I was bored at home so just went out to In N Out for a late night milkshake. My tpms light was on, so I stopped at the gas station nearby to check my tires. Three were at 33psi and the fourth was at 26.5 psi . These only have 4 or 5k miles on them. I didn't have time to check for a leak so I guess I'll have to keep an eye on it.

I think I'm finally getting the idea that I don't have the strength to lift the full cans over my car and will just have to back the car out.

OR, maybe I could get one of my older granddaughters to lift the trash can over my car -

Muster all of them into a bucket brigade!
An organization multiplies the chances of dropping it exponentially.
Or isn't that the point of the exercise?

Tropical storm over for me. Dodged a tornado, contained and cleaned some flooding, saw the radar-indicated center of rotation go over me, held some meetings... It's been a busy morning...
