Absolutely loving the Konig Hypergams...such an underrated wheel.

Care to share some differences in driving dynamics since your 17" wheel/tire setup is most likely lighter than the previous 18" setup?

Thanks man.

Simple really. There are a few more aesthetic and quality of life changes I want to make, but overall I'm pretty happy where it's at. I plan to keep this car for life if I can so the idea is to keep it happy and healthy. Keep up with maintenance, and throw a few mods in here and there...

In the next year I've gotta decide whether I'm going to respray it 37J or wrap it. One of my rear quarter panels has started to fade in a small area (bad repair from 3 years ago that is just now showing up), and according to professionals I'd have to pay to respray the entire piece including roof line to side skirt area. Problem is, the price of a quality tri coat respray is pretty high. So I'm debating just doing a color change with a wrap considering the faded area will still be protected underneath.

Car definitely feels quicker after shedding rotational mass. It also feels a lot tighter and more connected to the road. I bumped up a tire size, and the tires I chose are far better quality than the cheapo Kendas I had on the 18's.

That being said the setup isn't 100% dialed in yet. It drives great, but I still need to put some RLCA on and take about a degree of camber out. Front can be adjusted now, as i want to go from -4 down to -3.2 or so. I also plan to add just a hair of toe in on the rear next time the car is in for an alignment. I figure I'll wait to make all of the adjustments until I have the parts so I only pay for one alignment.

Thank you for the kind words!

and if you're referring to one of the watermarks that wasn't my doing. You'd have to ask the photographer, lol.

Yes. It was in korean "Ki Chul", usually a guy's name. Quick question since you went through multiple wheel set up. Do you feel any difference when you run 17x9 konig vs other 18 inch rims?

Had a headlight restoration done by a painter friend of mine recently and decided to take a few pictures.

I'm not sure of the grit level used, but the process was:
sand, change grit, wet sand, clean, apply heavy duty clear/bake in booth, apply second layer/final bake.

I've been assured that this should last a good long while.

Every day of the week, yes. The Konigs are especially light wheels so it makes an even larger difference considering my 18's were kinda stancey/heavy wheels. Added bonus is running 17's drops the car more without compromising wheel fitment; I actually gained clearance by downsizing.

Damn sucks about the faded paint. I'd probably just wrap it because yeah I'd imagine a respray on the whole area would be pretty expensive.

I'm definitely going for a similar build. I'm not keeping the car forever because I'd like to move up to a 17+ for the steering wheel buttons, bumper, tail lights etc. As for this one, I'd do mods that are easily reversible like wheels, exhaust, coilovers and that's about it.

That's a cool idea if you plan to move up. The new tails are pretty snazzy. Go for it
