Touchscreen stopped working

I have a 2014 Base FR-S with the pioneer touch screen. Has anyone ever experienced the touchscreen no longer responding? All the physical buttons on the side of the receiver work fine. The radio is still going but I can't select anything on the screen.

look in the manual and see if there's a way to reset the stereo system.. If nothing is to be found I'd take it to the dealership and have it inspected. Gluck to you. let us know how it works out.

Hey! Mine just started too!

Edit: 3 days my touchscreen wouldn't work. What I did was turn ac on full blast and then I wiped screen with warm water for 5 min. Now it's working! Now I can finally change the artist haha!

I'm trying to imagine you sitting there for 5 minutes wiping down the screen. It must be very clean at this point.

Yes!

So apparently when hot it doesn't work!! I found this on other car forums. I rarely touch my screen. I plug phone
Usb and its always on shuffle. I wonder if sensor or screen layer is faulty?

I have this same problem but it seems like it's limited to certain areas of the screen. more than 50% of the time I cannot press on the downward arrow when selecting music and 25% of the time back button doesnt work.

I have to stop and try it again 5 mins later. It sometimes works again but sometimes it wont work for a long time.

God I HATE this touchscreen/navi unit. Terrible.

I had my screen completely go at about 35K miles. It would flash on when I started the car and then go black. It was unresponsive to the touch controls as well (I could tell I was hitting the right spots based on where the finger marks on the screen were). Thankfully I was able to get it replaced under warranty. I'm at about 58K now with no issues on the new unit.
