Any chance you'd be up for a meetup? Looking for pointers on the MOR installation, I have a set that I want to use with my bumper.

So I noticed the Subaru TSB was from 2012, and supposedly they started using the new brackets there on forth.

I have a '14 model. After reading this thread, it looks like even the newer models are still having this issue?

Mine's starting to get a tiny bit misaligned. Nothing as bad as some of you, but OCD in me is driving me nuts! I called Subaru and told them about it. They told me they'll check it out when I do my oil change, but they said if they found any sort of scratch on the lip, they'll probably deny the claim to warranty. I'll give an update on what happens.

I think it has been confirmed that the new bracket TSB does not work. Maybe helps a little, but it is not a reliable long term solution. A denied warranty claim on this is pretty much BS, but it's unclear how the dealer could really fix the issue anyway.

As of now there is no solution other than drilling those quick release bumper tabs which looks horrible in my opinion.

I agree, but to each their own I guess...

So far, my gap is BARELY noticeable and only on the passenger side. I only noticed when I was re-torquing my wheels.

Yea, right when I said the bumper was slightly misaligned, the rep was very fast to drop that "void warranty" line at me. I was kinda speechless at that point; didn't even know what to say to him.

We'll see what they say/do next week.

Kick his ass, then sue them for voiding warranty.

As I posted before.
this is a design problem. the dealer can not fix it and they will do everything to deny any claims.
law case should be file for this.

I would just point out that hundreds of people on the forum have this issue and you would be happy to print out the pages and pages and pages of people complaining about this obvious design problem.

But again, I'm not sure what you are hoping to accomplish since they won't be able to fix it (except temporarily).

I'll be doing this DIY on Sunday:

Just left the dealer. They said since I have scapes on the bottom, the warranty would be void and I'd have to pay for a new bumper. However they did try to realigned. The right side is fixed but the left is still sagging a bit.

Side note. I'm running a staggered set up...dealer still decided to rotate my wheels.....had to have them rotate it back.
