The Scangauge is cheaper on Autozone.com with their coupon code they list on their site so instead of being $160 it's $127.99, so I bought one.

Awesome ! even cheaper than amazon. I was on the fence but knocking 30 bucks off goes a long way towards changing my mind

Edit: And free shipping !

For those that have expressed interest in my 3D printed mount. I'm sorry but I'm not going to get into the business of selling them. However I have gone ahead and uploaded the design to a print on demand service where you can have it made and shipped to you. You can also buy the design there for a small fee and print it yourself if you happen to have access to a 3D printer.

http://cubify.com/store/creation.asp...nce=8FYGO8GFX2

I make no promises as to the quality of their parts, and offer no support, but if someone does try it please let me know how it turns out. If it works well I may submit other designs there.

It doesn't have a temp sensor for MT. AT, on the other hand, has a temp sensor, but I don't if it is a dumb sensor or not

Damn. Thanks anyway.

Hey everyone ,
Here is my mount set up for my scan gage. It's a combo between a 3d printed bracket , bent sheet metal, and a coat of plasti dip. I only wanted to use it for at a glance info between runs so I made a point of putting it out of my view while driving. It mounts using to bent sheet metal pieces trapped between the dash trim piece. Let me know what you guys think.

I honestly probably could have gotten away with velcoing it right to the dash but I really hate the residue from the Velcro and this way it can't fall down on hot summer days.

Attachment 28549 is the list of supported standard (mode 01) PID for 86/BRZ/FR-S. This list is created from the Wiki’PID, and I highlighted the ones that are supported by our cars.

Here is an example of how to make use of the doc I created:
From the Xgauge cansf list, the short Term Fuel Trim Bank 1 has the TXD 07E00106. The 01 (07E00106) is the mode #. The 06 (07E00106) is the PID. Now look at the doc I attached. It shows the PID 06 is supported, which means that xgauge code works on our cars. The PID 07, On the other hand, is not highlighted on the list. That means the Short Term Fuel Trim Bank 2 is not supported.

Thank you Andery for finding the PID and torque’s code for oil temperature. Without him, I don’t think I can get the oil temp for xgauge.

I followed all of the steps, and cannot get the Oil Temp to work? It is just blank. I went through and made sure I had all 4 codes entered correctly, and then double checked again.

Firmware is version 4.12

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ok, update, for some reason the next time I started up the car the OIL temp showed?? Weird.

I did have one question though; what kind of Relative throttle % are you all seeing? The most I will see is 69.0% at WOT. Is that normal?

I've gotten oil temp working but I can't get air fuel working correctly. Can someone confirm that we can read the wideband?

Got one just to see oil temps on the track and have a digital speedo so everything else is a bonus. Not sure what I did with the seat belt one, didn't get the right code show up but no chimes so problem solved either way.

Getting 4 digit numbers which appear accurate if you pretend there is a decimal place in the middle. Is that the expected result?

Is it possible to program in distance to empty as a guage? I haven't investigated the trip functions as I want to keep it on the guage screen all the time.

Good catch. Got a typo in the first post. I will correct it later. In the mean time, use the one from post#22.

You can use the Add-a-Gauge function to add the distance to empty as a gauge.
