Extended wheel studs shop suggestions - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I'll feeling lazy and don't want to bother installing extended wheel studs myself. Has any of you have done it? If so, do you have suggestions on shops and cost?

Any tire shop can do it. It's not rocket science. It's like $80-100. Tops.

It's simple if you have the right tools. Press out the old ones press in the new ones.
The rears are a bit more work, cause of the brake shoes.

I'm pretty sure installing studs is simpler than some of the things I do to my car. I just didn't want to deal with it. I'm also looking for personal experiences within the GTA because I got quoted $500 without the stud cost.

Your better off asking @Tcoat for help. Just remember to use condoms. I believe that's the only payment he would take.

If the studs are longer than stock you have to pull the rear hubs right off the car to do it, fronts you can get the long ARP studs in without pulling the hubs.

On a Canadian car that has seen a few winters, it's almost a guarantee that the rear hubs are going to be a big battle to get off.

Alex, did you try iGarage? That's the only place I know of in the Markham area.

Two thumbs up from me! for iGarage, more that happy with any work they have done for me. They were easily less than other shops on my header installation.

This is exactly what I'm afraid of, lol. I really don't want to spend my own time trying to get the rear hub off. The rust battle is real
