Ya the way I wrote that wasn't clear. I totally agree with you.
What I was calling bull was the story that said it wasn't a BRZ since they had it confirmed to be a STi not that there could be two different cars revealed.

Look at the little plastic pieces that sit behind the rear seats. That's from the BRZ.

GUYS!

Subaru just leaked another new press photo via twitter:

Apparently they're FINALLY including this as an accessory with the BRZ STi

behold, the STi vape mod - it comes in WRB, plenty of carbon fiber, and a bright red STi logo

....sorry, slow day at work

And the hood scoop on the CF roof model is an STI.

Soooo, I think y'all should reach a conclusion here.

No one else noticed the red on the steering wheel and the top of the seats?

Seeing the Performance Package for for the 2018 WRX, my prediction for an "STI BRZ":

red accents interior
Recaro seats
Fog light delete for brake duct cooling
Brembos under STI wheels
STI lip kit all around
Big wang

Thats it. They're not going to any show any original ideas on the BRZ that haven't made there way to the WRX/STI first in my opinion

i would be pretty happy if they came out with a alcantara/suede steering wheel that i could eventually buy to replace my '17 steering wheel... i dont like the slippery thin fake rubbery leather stuff

Ya but that is in the Motor authority stuff so highly suspect to start with since they mixed pictures.

The only legit thing is the tweet that is clearly a BTZ.

Didn't the cosworth program start out as such?

I would prefer less weight rather than eye candy.

Eye candy sells cars to the masses.
Light weight sells them to the few.
