It's just the red that's known to stain.

Out of curiosity, I have plasti dipped badges on the 2014 right now and am considering one day dipping the whole car. Is there any way to do this without removing the emblems? I assume when you try to peal off the new layer, it'll take the old one off as well.

Only way to do what you want would be to mask the other areas REALLY well if you don't want to take off the badges.

Reason I ask is because I've got factory white paint. But red wasn't on my list of colors, so hopefully it's safe.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about it too much. You usually only hear of horror stories (this goes for anything) online vs. way more people with the positive experiences. I've learned that as well. When people are happy with things they go on being happy, but when something bad happens they want to tell the world.

If it was that unsafe, nobody would be using it. Just make sure you do all the prep work. DipYourCar has really good YouTube videos. I've watched most of them several times. Doing my wheels black in the next week or two.

I think if you painted the middle part of your front lip + your scion logos a gloss black, that would look really good.
