Love it!

The only decision is going to be Chrome or Diamond Black tips.

No, you can hear the exhaust a little more at highway speeds, but the road noise is still more prominent.

i got the fujitsubo AR catback pretty much the day it was released.

serial number shows 001 haha

as a tl;dr review: its what you expect. virtually drone free, great tame tone.

i have a paired with the JDL ultra quiet front pipe and its maybe a tad bit louder than before, but still very tame. cops dont even bat an eye.

cold start and some shit revs

on 2/26 i went out with a buddy to record some footage. my DSLR decided it doesnt wanna record audio for some reason. I have to figure that out and try again, but here's some iphone footage for yall.

Cold start with the JDL ultra quiet front pipe:

Did JDL stop selling their ultra quiet front pipe? I don’t see it on their site anymore.

That's a whole lot of metal being added. Did you happen to weigh the setup vs OEM?

oem is about 41lbs
fujitsubo is about 36lbs

~5lbs of savings

definitely not an exhaust you want if youre trying to remove as much weight as possible from the vehicle.

i emailed them about it they took them down temporarily, but they will be back. I was told due to the GESI cats being out of stock. I also have my fingers crossed!

Ok, good! Hopefully they’re back in stock by the time I’m ready.

I swapped from the Perrin 2.5" catback to the CSG Touring 86 catback... It's effectively OEM+ inside the car and not very loud outside the car either.

I have a JDL UEL and ISR Overpipe, stock frontpipe. The drone with the Perrin catback between 2-3k RPM was getting old quickly, not sure why it's so bad on a 2nd gen with UEL. Local friend has it with an EL header and it's drone free, so YMMV.

The CSG Touring 86 is damn near silent inside the car, may as well be OEM+ with zero drone and not much noise. It's getting a little louder after ~100 miles but I doubt it will ever get loud. Outside the car, on video anyway, it's not as deep of a sound as the Perrin but it's also less raspy and more "wooshy"

The CSG installs a little easier than the Perrin because you can set the tip depth easily, but the exhaust clamps were installed "backwards" meaning the bolt was on the wrong side of the exhaust for maximum clearance on installation. Kinda dumb but whatever, easy to fix. I also wish the CSG was 304 stainless, big bummer that it's not.

Prior setup with the Perrin catback:

New setup with the CSG catback (will update when I get some miles on it like the Perrin):

Anybody want to buy a Perrin catback? haha

Is that UEL header catted or not? Right now with the stock header & op, jdl catted/resonated fp, and csg touring my car is no louder then stock (except cold starts). I'm hoping it'll wake up a bit once I get the EL header on, ideally loud enough to hear it with a helmet on and not have to use the fake speaker noise. I don't want to stare at a CEL though and am waiting for a tune option before putting on a header. I also want it to be civil which is why I went with the CSG knowing I'd later do the rest of the exhaust.

Really like the sound. Nice non-obnoxious pops on downshifts. A little loud (smidge louder with a lot less drone than my previous 2019 w/ TRD exhaust), with a pretty good tone.

Only drawback is that there's a little bit of drone in the 2000-2500 rpm range when cruising...but with CA highways I'm either doing 75+ or stuck in traffic.

I still need to get around to unplugging the active sound...
Been considering this exhaust any further updates?
