It's alive!!! Just put some new rubber on to try to actually get some grip in this thing. 265 in the rear with Dunlop Direzza ZII, and it still breaks traction easily although they're a heck of a lot better than stock. Could break 4th gear traction with the stock tires no problem.

Well I just dropped my car off at ptuning. I made some mental notes on what to look out for on the way to ptuning if I ever make the trip again:

1. Falling rocks
2. Spattered deer guts
3. Lots of ear popping

The drive was nice and smooth the whole way. I averaged 37.2 mpg for the trip there which was roughly 500 miles. I'll be missing the mpg but the power will make up for that plus some, I'm ready to get rid of the stock power lol.

The shop was nice and the staff was very friendly which is always a reassurance .

I will be updating as I receive pictures from ptuning and will be updating what I get for mpg on the way back as well for comparison although I feel like it will be more uphill driving on the way back.

Went down in elevation for 500 miles?

At cruising, the kit doesn't drink more fuel than stock.

Yeah I think I went down in elevation lol but in the summer I would average 34-35 mpg mostly highway driving to work. 28-30 mpg in the winter months.

I don't expect to lose too many mpg with the kit if I can keep it out of boost lol. I'll be testing it and reporting back for anyone that is looking into this kit.

I have to apologize for the lack of sound, but you get the idea! A friend caught this on his dashcam when I took off.

So ran Gripfest on Saturday along with the @ptuning Crew. Also ran Road course based Autox (1 Mile long). The car performed flawlessly (except for a few freak outs with the whole peddal dance as I don't disable it) in every single way. Granted I didn't win but my times were no slouch.
@Mrc@ptuning frs is about the same setup as mine (power wise). He was running hosier slicks while I was running Toyo R888s and our differential on the road course were about 3.5 seconds. Had a blast and I can't wait to run again!

I still need to practice my autox skills as again I had a decent time but not good enough as one of Ptuning's skilled drivers showed me what my car could really do by running the course about 4 seconds faster than I did. All in All I placed top 7 in the road course (Our of 50) and top 11 in Autox out of 42.

Need more seat time!

Some Details on Data Logging/Video

Max Oil Temp: 239F @ 116 MPH
Max Coolant Temp: 212F @ 109MPH
Max Boost Recorded: 16.6psi
Max Speed(GPS): 116mph
Max Engine RPM: 8001

Here's a video of my spin-out on the last turn at GripFest 8 this past weekend. There's a few footage of the NASA autoX (running a portion of the road course) with our tech Justin piloting @kanundrum car and Toan in my car.

Actually brought the car to the drag strip today to see what I could get for trap speed. I wasn't going for ET since it was on street tires and no way they could hook up well enough.

On low boost, the car trapped 114.34. On high boost, I think something must have been "off", it trapped 117 over and over again (which coincidentally is also the end of 4th gear) I would assume a car running 440 rwhp and as light as this should easily be able to trap 125 no?

I'll go pull some footage of the runs, I had a front and rear dashcam running while at the strip.

Here's a few of the runs:

1 year on the track, no boost leaks, no coolant leaks, no broken parts, no tune issues, very tiny oil leak (fixed). This turbo kit just keeps on performing. Enjoy the vids! I'll be adding more telemetry data next video at Mazda Raceway.

Absolutely Love the sound effects of your car and the PTuning kit. Pity it isn't available for RHD applications !
