@mkivsoopra and I just came back from pounding on our turbo kits yet again at Laguna Seca Raceway. Cars ran flawlessly hot lap after hot lap in the unusually warm weather for this time of the year(75-80 F ambient). Video to come soon!

After a year of going FI with the PTuning turbo kit, I think it's time for a recap!
Total mileage: 26k on the chassis, 11k with turbo kit Car usage: partial duty commuter + weekend track monster Relevant mods:
Boost level: daily 9.5 psi (~350 whp), fun 14.5 psi (~450 whp), track 7 psi (wastegate ~300 whp) Number of track days: 12 - Ambient temps ranging from 70s to 105s, usually on pure E85 or mixed down to E50 at minimum General Issues Experienced (not necessarily specific to the kit):
Overall, I'm still very happy with the kit. It's been dead reliable, especially pushing the car to its limits in extreme conditions at the track. This setup absolutely terrorizes other cars at the track. They never expect this kind of speed coming from our cars. Most of the issues I've seen have been heat related, and they only surfaced during the hottest of track days before I had the massive oil cooler. I can imagine front-mount turbos to have 5x more problems with heat. Well-thought-out design, @ptuning @Mrc@ptuning @sw20kosh has been there with me at almost all the track days. He can attest to the robustness of the kit, as he's been putting it through the same torture test with similar results. |

I was looking to go with the Sprintex 335 supercharger, until I came across PTUNING. How is the reliability with this kit for a daily driver? I'm looking to attain 300 to 350 whp.

My car was their test car for quite some time. I gave Ptuning my car for several months (only with 950 miles break in period) and they used it to develop their turbo kit. My car to this day is running strong with several hundred of those miles being hard core WOT dyno pulls. Car has 22k miles and has been running flawlessly since day 1 in the very meticulous hands of ptuning. I can't say enough great things about the folks and their attention to detail. I will be embarking on a 1500 mile road trip in upcoming weeks and I expect 0 issues!
