please do show me how i passed off other people's cars as my own in the "what did you do to your fr-s/brz?" threads.

honestly you're like annoying (and that's coming from me!) and from here on out are on my ignore list (so if anyone else on here can show me how i passed off other people's cars as my own in that thread that'd be great)

take care man. hope you're a way cooler guy in person than you are on here.

Disagree, the 400Z does look good precisely because it resembles the 370Z on which it is heavily based. It’s a feature, not a bug. I like that continuity of design. Why should Nissan mess with a proven formula? Recreating the same basic design with some detail changes has worked for Porsche on the 911 and the Cayman for the last 20 years. When the Japanese do it, everyone complains.

Small rant.
I dislike the term "affordable"; it is totally meaningless. Everything is affordable if you can afford it. Nothing is if you can't.
Apologies, rant over.

Yeah, I know this sort of weight is becoming par for the course but less is still more.

We have to remember it's just gaming specs and not an official press release. I just shared it for fun and whatnot.

However, if it's true that's not bad imo. NissanUSA has the current 6sp 370z at even more, 3,333lbs.

I wouldn't be surprised if the real thing comes in just under 3400lbs as a best case scenario. For the price in order to make it competitive or under cut the MK5 they can't afford to make it lighter.

I'm going to circle back to the Z34 vs Z35. Clearly there are elements that were lifted right off of the 370z like the a-pillars/roofline, but the changes here and there really makes all the differences imo. The extra 5 inches really helps with short and stubby look of the side profile, and finally they got rid of those awful boomerang shaped lights.

The extra 5 inches are pretty much made up of the pointy section of the bumper and do slim the rear up a bit.
And deleted those damned scoop like door pulls!

exactly, not sure how people just straight up see a 370z lol. that video from Joe Raiti circling around the fenders, especially rear quarter, is pretty clear with how it no longer has the exaggerate hips from the 370z.. yes, if you squint your eyes, it has a similar silhouette but car looks longer and narrower. Sure, not a straight up modern 240z, but certainly more 240z than 300/350/370..

I think it does as well. I think lowering the taillights also helps.
