Yup. The epoxy coating or layer starts to separate especially after a lot of heat. But I love the looks of it.

This is after many track days over the course of two years. I don't really see fading, but I can confirm they do start melting when you push it lol.

Yeah, red gloving brakes nearby during track day, doesn't help with longetivity of plastic part and how securely it stays in place with small tabs that can deform under heat

usually non metallic center caps are frowned upon if not outright disallowed at trackdays but that might be dependent on track and who's running the event

Yours is in way better shape than mine which is just a DD and never tracked. I think it's UV, also don't have a garage.

They look cool and are fairly cheap though.

I ceramic coated mine, here's to hoping they last. They're removed for track though, only installed after track days when the wheels are clean.

17x9 +35 RPF1 is an absolute timeless look for the 86 platform.

20 years from now a clean 86 with the +35 offset RPF1 is a setup we'll still be drooling over

I was searching for fun for new wheels... in 17" it's pathetic how we don't have that many choice/offset in "cheap" quality wheels. I'll keep the RPF1, maybe a color change on my next tire set idk !
