What would be a good way to make the chrome trim ring around the start button black?

Aliexpress/Ebay/Amazon you can find very cheap anodized rings. The chrome piece pops out very easily for replacement. Just use a small flathead with some tape on it and be gentle.
I went with a black ring. Hopefully you can make it out well enough in my pic here: |
