Look if you don't want to spice up the twins with new colors, fine. Take all your neutral colors except for blue and red and call it a day, but I'd rather our cars not be stuck on the black and white spectrum forever. That's why I got a blue one. I didn't even like hot lava but I still don't want to see it go, because at least it was a real color.

Wait, what? Weren't you just arguing about how great another black option would be for the twins?

Yeah but it's still something different and tasteful instead of

Metallic black
Metallic grey
Metallic grey (2)
Metallic light grey (silver)
Metallic white

See what I mean?

I've also said we should get orange, hyper blue, and yellow from Subaru, like three times, and then get a lime green as well, because it looks surprisingly good on our cars.

I too would like to see more colours. However, mine is silver and I really like it.

Matte looks awesome, but I bet it's a pain in the neck to maintain.

Yes. Matte black wheels...sure, but car body...ahhhh, regardless it will be very hot in the summer time with any black color, that's why black is my least favorite color, for any car.

Even the pearl / whiteout white, doesn't quite do it for me on pretty much any " sports car" , in the '90s when the sc300 and sc300 had it, it was cool at the time. I'd much prefer a super / natural/ polar white on a sports car any day

That green does look surprisingly good...would probably look terrible on most cars though.

It definitely does require more care, it's definitely an enthusiasts color, it's not the kind of car you'd run through a car wash, that's for sure. If you ceramic/opti coat matte paint, it becomes easier to take care of, though, and those coatings don't cause the matte finish to become any less "matte".

The only thing that might be a pain for some is that you can't put it through an automatic car wash and you need to use special soaps for matte paint. But, I don't use automatic car washes anyways...Only for the company car lol

It's hides dirt very well. It's my DD and I've been driving it all winter. If it needs a quick was I just go to a U wash and use rinse water and hose it off. It's already has a coating on it so it's good enough.
