All my chips have been rock chips (yours doesn't look like it, odd location?). My impression was that people were putting down Subaru for front end chipping. Buy any low modern black car.. and you will hate yourself within 1 year. But I see your point, that isn't good. Every time I have a chip on any steel part.. I put paint on it ASAP. Glue some sandpaper to a pencil eraser, scuff it up and put some touch up on there. Don't want that spreading. |

2015 BRZ Manual - Bought new, now at 11k miles. Cricket sounds but still drives nicely, checked at dealership and everything came out fine.
No issues so far unlike my two Minis... Still a happy owner at the moment |

Over 21,000m now and not even 1 small problem. I did smack a rock really hard and dent the bash plate... But that was my own fault! Luckily that's the only damage it did. I would recommend some kind of protection on the bottom of the front bumper against stone chips though.
