That was on the STI springs. Wheels were 18x8 et42? with 225/40/18 tires. Fitment was very nice. I'm currently running the STI 18x7.5 wheels and I need just a little more offset so I might get spacers.

I was going to ask if you were getting the BRZ STI wheels lol Did you end up selling the Konigs? Funny how they look kinda similar to the STI wheels on the WRX

Haha yes I got the STI 18 inch wheels. I sold the Konigs to a coworker so they are still around. Everyone kept saying I bought crosstrek wheels but they are 18s!!!

Here is another small photo dump of some things that were done;
Whiteline diff craddle bushings installed. This is a extremely good mod in my opinion. I paired these with a Cusco transmission collar and the difference is NIGHT and DAY !!! Car feels so much tighter and the load transfer almost doesn't exist. Some added NVH but I actually dig the mechanical sounds being transferred to the cabin Next up I did Grimmspeed hood struts. The initial opening of them is meh. Kinda have to help to lift them up but once they are open the engine is very accessible and you don't have the silly rod in the way Here are the STI V-bars and STI strut bar. I do feel a noticable difference with the V-bars and the STI strut bar also is doing "something" compared to my old Cusco bar. The car is a lot more tighter on turns and less harsh over bumps. At least that is what I feel. Can't forget those 18" STI wheels STI battery tie down Greddy Oil cooler install. For some reason it was very time consuming yet extremely easy to install. Not sure how that went wrong on my end but it is working now lol! |

Oh my God, your poor axles Been strongly considering those bushings though. I've heard both good and bad things about them. Ideally I'd like to do the subframe bushings, too. |

Haha yea it wasn't pleasant having it like this either. I highly recommend these bushings. The difference was very significant. The gear changes, take offs are amazing now. Subframe bushings are going on soon I have them sitting on my desk. For the craddle bushings I recommend either removing the diff or supporting it as you will more that likely have to sawzall those off like I did. Hence the diff hanging |
