You can (could? I haven't looked in 30 years) get 8 foot pipes. Three would suck since they would pump exhaust right into the driver window. That isn't fun as I can tell you from experience.

Oh, no I meant the starter motors that are more efficient (power and gas), more reliable, lighter, etc. Really just better in every possible way. When you can tune by smell alone... You're not feeling with a precision piece of equipment. In fact, maybe all that exhaust huffing explains things...

Ooooo send me the list once you recall the terms! I'm interested.

There are casual car people at work (they know the basics but isn't into cars) and I brought up the word "ricer". A few flinched and said that's a racist term, even in today's age.

I just laughed and left it right there. Didn't want to get reported to HR, one tends to be trigger happy on that.

Then, if you put a set of cut-outs right behind the header, you could drown out the noise coming from the sound systems in the kids cars of today .....

NO! ....... you are WRONG! ....... it wasn't the exhaust fumes ....... it was gas fumes coming up from the two four barreled carburetors, with the jets drilled out and linked parallel, that we were huffing ......
