How to show the competition your way better than them: Go for a spin on one lap & get the track record and Pole on his next one. There’s a lesson there.

Hulk did pretty well considering all the unknowns challenge he faced. I’m sure his Boss told him don’t sweat it, just bring the car home tomorrow enjoy the ride. Seems he is enjoying his competitive return to the F1 world very much. And impressed the other top 3 qualifiers… Probly sleep with ice packs or something around his neck tonight.

Max will be Max I suppose tomorrow…

Should be very entertaining , I sense the race should be wide open to all besides those Pesky Mercs,

Too bad for Russell, Caught speeding on a race track…. – 5 places for you .

Some Pics...

I was impressed with Hulk’s drive. To step into a car you had never driven and put down laps just outside the top ten. Hoping he nabs points.

Albon looks like Gasly from last year. Maybe they will switch back

Actually was only 0.065 off Lance's time in Q2. Not that Stroll is the high bar for qualifying, but pretty impressive considering that 48 earlier he had no idea that he would be driving.

And yesterday he thought he had a shot at some points...
What a letdown this morning and race has not even started

Lol at that finish.

Mercedes needs to calm down a little. Too fast.

HAM/Merc are in a class of their own. That 3 wheel stunt will go down as a classic finnish, Wonder if his Floor plank was measured as still leagaly thick.

Max pitted in time RBR reported his tires were cut up pretty bad... 50 cuts?

I was going to put the fault of the many flats on Pirelli but I think its more the Track sweepers leaving lots of debris Or someone had decided to bring some tacks to work today...

Charly L: good show.

Wasn't the first time drivers/teams have pushed their tires to far. Remember Mika Hakkinen running on square tires because he kept locking up. He didn't want to give up the lead but the out of balance fronts destroyed the suspension so he collected zero points. This past race #44 was just plain lucky, #77 not so much. They should have pitted both cars before Red Bull and then would have preserved the one, two finish.

Hamilton did 143mph down the straight WITH that flat tire. Mercedes posted about it.

Bottas was complaining of vibration a couple laps before it went. If they would have pitted him he would have still been in the points.

They have to wait for Perez to get back to work so they can fire him.
